Homo Faber is an event that promises to put fine craftsmanship in the international design spectrum, as well as give recognition to master artisans and the rare artisanal techniques to prevent them from being forgotten.
This event will take place in numerous historical and architectural spaces throughout the Fondazione Giorgio Cini (an international cultural centre in the island of San Giorgio Maggiore) and it will showcase a wide variety of arts and disciplines, exquisite pieces, innovative installations, as well as artisans working live on their respective arts.
Visitors will be able to see the artisans working in real time and speak to them about their craft as well as virtually enter the ateliers of the masters, among other aspects of the fine world of craftsmanship. Most importantly, they will be able to learn more about European design and craftsmanship.
It is definitely an amazing experience everyone should attend!
