Salon Maison et Objet is one of the best Paris design events in January, that is no secret… What was a secret until now, however, was which mid-century bar stools we would be able to see first-hand from the 19th until the 23rd of January. Now that the news is out, let’s fall in love with mid-century luxury brand Essential Home’s creations…
Mansfield Bar Chair
Mansfield bar chair was inspired by the mid-century design aesthetics but it boasts a contemporary twist of its own, accentuated by its round shape body. Supported by a brushed brass base and a footrest designed for comfort, Mansfield is upholstered in a sophisticated velvet fabric, exhibiting a stylish design.
Kelly Bar Chair
Kelly is an art-deco bar stool inspired by the curved and sculpted arches from Rick’s Bar in the classic 1940’s movie Casablanca. The body is a full piece built out of brushed brass, and it also features a low back, a foot rail and a brown leather seat, which is available for customization.
Russel Bar Chair
Russel bar chair was inspired by the 1960’s space-age aesthetics. As a result, it is handmade in brushed brass, exuding an exclusive velvet fabric. The base is round and swivels up to 360 degrees, with a foot rail that was added for comfort. A great mid-century bar chair that is right either for a cozy home bar, or a big hospitality project.

Monocles is a drinks cabinet produced in classic materials such as solid walnut wood, with additional brass features and front paneling. It is split into two sections: one with a set of shelves and drawers, accented by brass knurling knobs, and the other a stylish storage space for cocktails. A drinks cabinet with a fresh and sleek look, comprising style and functionality.
