Paris Design Week and Maison & Objet Are Taking Over The City!

Maison & Objet is almost at its end and Paris Design Week is walking towards the end as well, so why not take this time to tell you exactly what’s going on in the lovely city of lights? Come with us and we’ll show you just why these are the much awaited design events in France that no one can miss!

The Parisian exhibition center, Paris Nord Villepinte, opened its doors on the 7th of September for another much awaited edition of Maison & Objet. However, design has arrived to Paris since a day before that, with Paris Design Week and its amazing program of design celebration and recognition.

The premise is easy to understand: a week dedicated to design in the wonderful city of Paris, from the 6th to the 15th of September, with exhibitions, debates and workshops happening all over the city, as well as professionals from all over the world that come together to celebrate design.

During this time, design lovers are able to attend design events all over the city, enjoy design to the maximum and learn more and more about this extraordinary world that is forever innovating.

When it comes to Maison & Objet, even though it’s coming to an end, there is still so much to be seen! Furniture brands from all over the world have their stands on this iconic design fair, showcasing their stunning pieces that are true works of art. Designers are also present, as well as students or design lovers that are eager to learn more and more. If you’re either of them, this is your home, your haven.

From Swarovski to Seletti, Essential Home and DelightFULL, you’ll find everything you’re looking for, brands that are recognized for their quality in the various departments of home decor and design pieces. Paris is offering everything you need for the ultimate design experience: workshops, conferences, stands with the best brands in the world, and so on. You just have to attend and see for yourself!

A fine example of the many events happening at Maison is The Talks, a program of conferences with professionals in the world of design talking about trends and news in this fascinating design scene.

All the way from Lebanon, the six awarded Rising Talents of the September edition of Maison & Objet came together at L’Espace Conférences in Hall 7 on the 2nd day of this fair, to talk about their path through the world of design across the years. Mentioning the struggles of getting their work recognized and produced, discussing their views on creating unique pieces that have an impact, and the almost non-existence culture of design in their home country, they passed on their knowledge to the audience in another successful conference, beloved by all the attendees.

On Hall 6, one of the biggest halls at Paris Nord Villepinte, was where some of the best awaited brands were to be found, such as Seletti, the Italian design brand naturally keeps on wowing everyone with each edition of the fair they attend.

However, our personal favorite was, obviously, Essential Home. Located in Hall 6 – Stand N112/O111, Essential Home didn’t have time to catch a break over these days of Maison & Objet! Partnering with sister brand DelightFULL, the stand they presented on this fair was not just a favorite of ours, but certainly of many others that simply couldn’t just pass by and had to walk in and pay a visit to the bar and living room corner of the stand, with stunning vintage inspired furniture pieces with a touch of luxury and modernity.

The two sister brands wanted to show how versatile their pieces can be and, in DelightFULL’s case, how they are prepared to deal with contract needs for big hospitality projects. As for Essential Home, the mid-century furniture brand wanted to convey a feeling of versatility throughout the house, showing all their visitors how an Essential Home piece can look exclusively unique in any corner of their homes.
