The Toronto’s house of the biggest star Drake measures 50,000 square feet, with amenities such as an NBA regulation-size indoor basketball court crowned by a 21-square-foot pyramidal skylight. The astonishing domicile was designed by Canadian architect and interior designer Ferris Rafauli, who created Drake’s manor house the just way that he imagined it.
The astonishing domicile is a marvel of old-world craftsmanship, constructed of limestone, bronze, exotic woods, and other noble materials. Every detail of the sprawling property has been meticulously conceived and executed.
Drake’s manor house is a unique interior design piece that brings together all the principles of a well-executed and luxurious architecture. Constructed with the finest materials, Toronto’s house is a work of art made of noble materials, such as limestone, bronze and exotic woods. Every detail of the house has been meticulously conceived and executed.
“Because I was building it in my hometown, I wanted the structure to stand firm for 100 years. I wanted it to have a monumental scale and feel.”
The modern art deco style of Drake’s manor house was entirely designed according to his high-profile and iconic personality. That message is delivered through the size of the rooms and the bespoke materials and details of the floors and the ceilings. The goal was simple: people could see the work that he developed over the years, reflected from all points of view of the manor house.
Epic Great Room
The epic living room of Drake’s manor house, which rises 15 meters high, has a bespoke piano designed by the venerable Austrian piano maker Bösendorfer in collaboration with Japanese artist Takashi Murakami. The second jewel of this luxurious architecture is a monumental iteration of Lobmeyr’s iconic Metropolitan chandelier made of Swarovski crystal, being the second-largest installation of its kind in the world. It’s an interior design masterpiece.
Master Bedroom Suite
Drake’s manor house favourite spot in the house is his magnificent bedroom. The master bedroom suite has 3,200-square-foot with an additional 1,100 square feet of covered terraces. The master bedroom is where Drake retreats at night and where he wakes up in the morning to enjoy the day.
The centrepiece of the master bath is a 4,000-pound tub of faceted black marble carved from a single block. And if you’re still not surprised, it’s because you haven’t seen Drake‘s two-story cabinet, decorated with bespoke materials, such as amethyst hardware, rock crystal and diamond-trimmed upholstered seats with polished nickel studs.
There is a recording studio in Drake’s manor house, which he compares to the “eccentric studios of the 70s”. A magnificent kitchen that features the first stove from Rafauli’s new line for La Cornue and luxurious bar chair designs; the award room which tells Drake‘s storyline, a highly refined bar with the most bespoke materials, an indoor pool covered sheathed in black granite, and much more.
“I think the house shows that I have true faith in myself to take on this task when I was just 27 and see it through,”
Exploring the splendours of Drake’s manor house, he takes the long view and retreats it with a sense of pride in his bespoke interior design creation, where he can achieve nostalgic thoughts and return to his childhood.
