Maison et Objet is on its second day of celebrating design and today we’re showing you what to do after a full day attending this amazing fair that no one wants to miss. From places to visit in Paris, to where to have a delicious meal, you’ll have no reason not to enjoy the city of lights to the fullest!

Places To Visit
Le Marais

One of the oldest and coolest districts in Paris, this is definitely a spot in Paris you’ll want to get to know. Home to the author of the “Les Misérables”, Victor Hugo, it’s the perfect spot to stroll through and discover more about medieval Paris. You can join a walking tour to learn more or just take a stroll freely at any time of day.
Sacred Heart Basilica of Montmartre (Sacre-Coeur)

A stunning white basilica that looks more like a palace, this is a great spot to visit after a long day of enjoying design, to witness true Parisian architecture at its finest. You’ll also be stunned at the panoramic views from the top of Sacre-Coeur. Travelers also suggested making a trek during sunset and if you stick around long enough, you’ll be able to see the Eiffel Tower‘s sparkling lights illuminate the skyline.
Musée Rodin

A hidden jewel in the city but definitely a place you must visit in Paris after a day at Maison. Musée Rodin is actually the former residence of famed 19th-century sculptor Auguste Rodin and his work can also be seen on this museum, as well as paintings from Van Gogh from the sculptor’s own collection.
Arc de Triomphe

The towering Arc de Triomphe was commissioned by Napoléon to honor the Grande Armee during the Napoleonic Wars, but is now a spot with immense history and definitely a touristic attraction that brings numerous new people to the city. The arch, which is the largest of its kind in the world, is adorned with several impressive, intricately carved sculptures and you’ll be able to see it all in person after a day at Maison.

We have to start with a traditional, classic bistro with a simple menu to please every palate, all served in a cozy atmosphere to make you feel at home in a foreign country. You’ll find yourself wanting to come back for more, and certainly experiencing the best of traditional Paris cuisine. With the use of high-quality, local ingredients, they provide the best dishes no matter how simple. Definitely a place you’ll recommend to friends once you experience it.
HolyBelly (Café)

Holybelly opened in 2013 and it’s still one of the best cafés in Paris. Providing their costumers with high-quality coffee beans, amazing service, and one of the best brunches in town. You’ll also be able to thoroughly enjoy the interior design, making you feel right at home.
Le Barav’ (Wine Bar)
This little wine bar will surely make every dream of a Parisian sidewalk café come true. Authentic and with an excellent wine selection, and quite a few simple, tasty nibbles, this bar holds itself together pretty well, on its decor as well. The cave right next door to the bar affords you the opportunity to bring your favorite bottles home, but you can also drink them on-site for a small corkage fee.
Les Ombres
In the heart of the lush garden of the musée du quai Branly, perched on the roof terrace, LES OMBRES restaurant rooftop Paris offers a unique panoramic view of Paris, in the shadow of its neighbor, the Eiffel Tower, which projects the day its metallic lace on tablecloths and evening, ignites the room.
