Have you ever heard of the expression “ you eat with your eyes first”? For those of you who haven’t, think back to the last time you’ve gotten served a meal and thought this looks delicious. Well, that’s exactly what we mean. However, what we have for you today is not about the food, but about the place, you eat it. We know that the overall look of something is very important and that’s why we appreciate this five-star restaurant called Temple House.
High ceiling, falling lights, warm tones and nature feel. Those are the thoughts going through our head when we see this. The inside dining area has somewhat of vintage, eclectic style to it. The golden-brown woods, combined with the terracotta colours, the green and the brass. It’s hard not to fall in love with this place.
What makes the temple house restaurant so special, is the different style elements they choose to implement in their design. When entering this restaurant, it’s hard not to get a wave of tranquillity and zen wash over you. The outdoor area, simply perfect, not too much and certainly not too crowded. The wooden chairs and tables complement the wooden exterior of the restaurant which already gives you a glimpse into the cultural design of China.
As for the table designs, those are fairly neutral, with not too much embellishments but with a subtle almost brown orangey colour and the hint of green to liven up the table. It’s clear, it was designed to connect more to the natural aesthetic of the restaurant. A subtle beauty is the most beautiful beauty of all. One could mess the random placements of stones, while this, in our opinion, is the centre-piece of this establishment. Drawing inspirations from the zen garden artistry.
